Which K&N air filter should I get the universal cone or the fuel injection kit? Also which size should i get for the universal cone?

 

Get one that has a 3" opening so you can bolt it right on without having to do anything else. I have one that is 9" around and 12" long that I bought from Pep Boys for $50 or so. The filter charger made for the 300ZX is over $100 and I'm not going to buy that if I can get something that works just as well for a lot less money.

You'll also want to replace the resonator (that funky looking box next to the air filter) with a 6" section of 3" pipe.
