just got mobilization orders for iraq in the mail ... any military people here who have been there or any military people who have info about the process ... I was IRR and have not been active for like 4 years ... it was a big shock, came outta the blue ... I'm rank : specialist ... mos: combat medic ... I'm going to fort jackson first then arkansas then 99% probably Iraq

 

ouch, that sucks. combat medic is one of those jobs that is in high demand right now. i have one more year left to worry about IRR, but i don't think they have a pressing need for Sonar Techs in this conflict, so hopefully i won't ever get that letter.

time to find a boyfriend maybe? do you use all of your toes? fall down some stairs?

how am I being a bitch ... I'm going, I'm not complaining, I was just asking a question ... most of the people over there are ARMY and very much in harms way and I'm attached to an infantry unit as a combat medic so I'm not going to be sitting on my *** in the rear having a picnic ... I will admit marines are little more hard core but army soldiers are not that far behind
