Hi all i need a picture of a complete 87 300zx with a digital dash! I need it to start construction of the custom interior for it... if you look at my picture under "Rides" on page 3 you will see there isn't much of it left...Please i need this picture of the interior

 

interior looks basically like your 85NA. Or does that car not have an interior either? If you're doing a full custom interior, why do you want to see what the original looks like anyway?

And what do you see that makes you think it's really a turbo?
Turbos have:
spoilers.
black trim.
engine with a turbo.

of which that car has none of the above. Take a look around at the images section on z31.com. There's bound to be a few pictures in there.

i'm glad you asked that i just found out that the car used to have a high performance VG30ETT!! thats right a twin turbo...and also the 87 300zx is a not suppose to be but it was redid as one...if my friend's info is correct(also a Z driver:P) normal 300zx na have a four bolt pattern for there rims...not sure if that is right but if so this one on the other hand has a 5 bolt pattern normal found on a turbo. the exhaust on this car has been complete redone as if it was a turbo...normally a NA has only a single tailpipe, this one has a dual tailpipe...also not too sure on that, the vin number say it is a 1987 300zx non-turbo, if anyone this info is wrong please let me know. do you have any instant messengers? if so which ones?

 

your friend has a few things left to learn...

a) 84 and 85 NAs were the only Z31s to have 4 lug wheels. ALL other Z31s had 5 lug wheels. That means, all year z31 turbos, and all 86-89 NAs.

b) both NA and turbos have a single exhaust. They both came with a dual tip muffler. Or do you mean that there is another tailpipe on the passenger side of the car?

Does your car have an ECU?
Your friend probably lied to you, or you misunderstood him. Who knows, maybe a little bit of both.
The only interior diffrence on a turbo is the turbo gauge, which NA's have a voltage gauge I believe. (I don't own a NA, so I am not exactly sure) What exaclty makes everything on the car scream turbo?

You should just go ahead and make the interior the way you want it and not bother with what other people have done. Thats why its called "custom"
