How much would you pay?

just thought it would be cool to ask people how much the paid for the cars
i paid 600$ for my white 87 nonturbo 2seater w/t tops
and i paid 400 for my black 88 turbo 2seater also w/t tops
suprisingly the 88 is in way better condition than the 87.
...post away!

$1800 for my 87na. the interior is great after i shampooed a few things, engine runs fine, paint sucks *** because it came from san diego (&*%$ing sun). it made the san diego to seattle run 3 times no problem, once in 15 hours. i love it, but want a z32.

well, technically speaking, my Z didn't cost me anything, because my father gave it to me. I believe he bought it for $1000 in 1996.

think your paints bad? 87 was repainted white by the person who had it before me and there are drips under the doors and tailights!

mine looks like it had a maaco el cheapo as it gets repaint. but they didnt take off the old paint, so i have 2 layers of f$^ked up paint. they painted over all the black on thhe bumpers and even the license plate lights. its peeling everywhere they masked, and the sun oxidised the holy hell out of the hood and roof. the thing that gets me is the people i got it from had a custom fit cover for it that was in the back, guess they never used it. surprisingly, with all of the sun damage to the paint, the dash and the rest of the interior are in great shape.

Well mines an 82 280 ZX and I paid $400. Runs great, needs paint. Found it in a barn where I was working. After a long bath and scraping all the loose clear off and polishing whats left of the paint, It doesn't look to bad.

my paint was excellent, but after sitting for 4 years in the rain and sun, the paint became dingy, but a quick buff cleared that up. Now it has some dings, and I was side swiped, but it's in pretty good condition.

Thanks
we went to a parking garage to take pictures, 4-5 cops showed up, turns out it was beside a police station, but they were okay with it after we showed them the pictures on our digital cameras and got one cop for a picture.

Paid $1,000 for my 86 turbo with blown engine & very straight/rust free chassis. Interior was close to excellent except for the faded grey carpet. Recently I paid much more for my new turbo than I did for my car. Funny how things work out.

wow, you guys payed all under 2k for your cars. I payed $2700 for an 84 300ZX AE which needs a tranny replacement. It's my mom's money and she really didn't wanna go off and look for another car, so she forced me to settle . Great parents.
