For a car that's more than 15 years old, it's normal for the engine to run very differently than when it was first off the assembly. Hey, by the way, if you don't shut off and restart the engine, does it still idle at 1500 rpm after 5 minutes?

High Idle
No. The car stays at high idle until I turn it off and on again. It may be the Air Vane, though that is triggered by the temperature sensor (switch) when the temperature reaches a certain point. So it could be a faulty temperarure sensor also. I also noticed the car is a little hesitant under 1200 RPM. If I push the accelerator slowly it will hesitate until it gets above 1700 RPM. If I mash the accelerator then the hesitation goes away and the car takes off. Almost acts like a vacuum leak. Any suggestions?
