headlights won't move!
 

hey, I have a problem with my 84 300zx, the headlights won't go up/down. im currently just manually putting them up when its night time, but that's starting to be a pain, so i've replaced the motors with different ones(not new) and some relays and the steering column .. things., and yet, it still doesn't work. has anyone had this happen? or know how to fix it? oh and does anyone know where i can get the front panel this black 300 has?

If you find that body kit, please let me know. either way you said you connected the cable by the pannel?

Maybe you should search out the "headlights down" mod and see if it's been done to your car...

I know it isn't that because one day the lights just wouldn't pop up. and I just figured out that the black 300 in the pic doesn't have a front body kit, or at least I don't think it does, it's probably just a late 80's 300

try cleaning the contacts on the headlight switch on the column.

As far as the body kit. You're right. (I was about to say that mine doesn't look like that. haha) But I thought the front went straight down. But it doesn't. It's just at the angle the pic was taken. (I feel dumb now, because I have an 87)

looks like an 87+ japanese 200ZR. It has the 200ZR hood scoop and a TBO front spoiler. Note that the front spoiler sticks out just a little. I like to think the TBO is a cross between the Kaminari and SS spoilers.

Also note the different rear wing and the side marker lights BEHIND the front wheels instead of in front.

Just my thoughts anyway.

Well I'm glad you pointed that out. Then I don't feel so foolish. Haha. Because I didn't think it was like mine. Anyone know where I can get that motor and swap mine out> haha. That is an interesting tail.
