Fuel Injector Wiring
 

Guys, this may be a silly question but I’m trying to figure out why my ‘85 NA is running so damn rich. The PO cranked up the variable mixture screw on the MAF but I’ve taken that all the way back down and I’m still getting crazy crackling as we decelerate in gear. Struggles to start but idles and runs smooth once it’s going. Strong gas smell almost all the time.

I checked all the injectors when I put them back and none seemed to be stuck open. It seemed to me that a couple of the injectors were sharing a circuit… I told myself that I was just dreaming and moved on. Is that something someone might have done to deliberately get more gas in and make more noise?? Grasping at straws here.
