found 86 turbo body

Just a few miles away from here I found an 86 Z31T body without an engine. The PO was going to do a swap of some kind. Appears to have had an Automatic. It has a black leather interior, some cracks in the seats. The dash and doors looked really nice. Bad is my 81 ZX will be put on the back burner for a while, this way, I can get the wrecked 84 parted.Need to do a little research on the drive lines. Nice bonus is the 5 bolt wheels, lots of options. Has stock wheels with nice rubber too, so I'm pretty happy if he comes down a little like he was indicating. Wanted 800, but said strait out he was willing to come down some, and throw in a few extra parts to boot! Swapping my NA over should be fairly painless. Ill post some picks tomorrow, need to find a spot to part my ZX

Few Pics

Towed her home, only had about 3 miles to go, still was nerve racking for my bro who manned the Z for the drive, hehe. Only had to pay $500, same I paid for my totaled 84 to buy it back. So basically minus my labor, Ill be back on the road after 3 months for about a grand even. I have a lot of work ahead of me. Almost the same color as my 84. I thought that 84 to 86 had the same body panels, unless I'm seeing things, the front fender seemed to have a much wider flare.

86 did have wider front fenders like the 87-89 + 84AE. Very clean shell.

Nice score, I bought one with a blown engine exactly like it last year. Nice that the smoked tail lights and turbo bar are in good condition.
