Fog lights
 

Is there a site or can someone email me directions to a way to make my fog lights work even when the head lights are off. I'm also going to mod the lights so that they don't pop up unless the high beams are activated. Has anyone done this and if so, has this caused any problems that I need to note and weigh (plus any fixes for this)

to turn on the headlights without opening do the following:

take off the driverside kickpanel under steeringwheel
on the right side of wheel look for a wire connector that is about and inch wide and a quarter inch thick. it is black and white with red and orange wires coming out of it. disconnect it. the only draw back is ive heard that once you do this you lose your "lights" idiot light.

Now what I really am looking for is just some mod that will allow me to turn on the fogs w/o the headlights. Like day time running lamps. I know how to keep the lights from poppin up.

read the archives on Z31.com. You basically take a wire that is only on when the car is on, and you wire it to the fog light relay in the engine bay. Quite simple if you can read a wiring diagram.

Big thanks. (now that I feel foolish for not just thinking that and doing that simple of a solution) I guess I'm just really wanting to make this harder than it is.. haha.. Again. Thanks a lot to you all for giving me answers I needed.
