Finding & Replacing Oil Pressure Sender
Hi,
Thank you for reading this. I was driving my 1986 NA 300zx and I noticed the oil pressure gauge stays at 0 unless accelerating, which is very different from yesterday in where it’d immediately start moving when I start my car—and the pressure stays at 30. She’s running normally so I think it’s the sender. I read on another post that the sender is behind the oil filter, but I’m having trouble finding it & haven’t found a guide to replacing it (currently looking through my chilton manual). Any tips? If anyone could show where it is/a guide to replacing this I’d really like my gauge to be working properly, or if I should just call a mechanic lol. thank you again. |
