Engine revving issue
 

Just had a weird experience driving my 1986 turbo, pulled out of a parking lot, car revved to pass red line acted like it wanted to blast off. Fought it for a small way, neutral was even worse, got in park shut it down. Waited started a few times same thing. Waited longer, it started up normally and drove home. Throttle may have stuck? Ideas?

Throttle cable was lose, caused the rev, place it back in place tighten it to the bracket- all good. Thanks
