how much for a z31 longblock overhaul? also for the turbo and tranny?

Spoke to you on the phone april 29th.
-longblock $960 plus parts(700plus or minus). includes complete tear down. clean and inspect block and heads. hot tank. check for cracks. hone cylindars and bore if needed. replace all seals and bearings(main and rod bearings). new pistons and rings. new oil pump(have to specify if m/t or a/t). check cyl. heads for warpage, machine surface if needed. new head gaskets. new valve seals. check spring rate tension.

-transmission $320 plus parts(new world class rebuild kit plus or minus $200). I am assuming this is a T5 BW. tear down and inspection. replace all synchronizers. replace damaged bearings. if countershaft is damaged or mainshaft, it would be cheaper to get a used trans with no damage to shafts and replace synchros. counter/main shafts will be close to $800 in just parts.

as for the turbo, we dont have a turbo balancer. but we have a side shop we can send it to get it rebuilt.

we also do auto/5spd conversions on 84-86 Z31's
$1500 labor plus parts

Why won't you do conversions for the 87-89 models?

And 87-89 turbos are the Nissan transmissions, not the BW T5s.
