clutch problem?
 

Okay. As i listed earlier, I will be purchasing an '85 300zx tomorrow. the only major problem is the clutch. It will only be either all the way up, or all the way down. If it's up and you push on it a little bit, it springs down and vise-versa. what could the problem be? I was thinking maybe it's just the clutch line? I dunno. what do you guys think?

Basically you need to check two major possibilities,one is the clutch slave cylinder located and attached to the trans or the clutch master cylinder is bad also AZ bum has some tech advise on how to eliminate the clutch damper but you have to go to his web site for step by step instructions truely amazing when you read this
