A/C control problem
I just recently purchased a 87 with the automatic controler. When I got it the hot air was coming from the defrost vent and I could not change the temp or anything. This weekend after reading thru several forums I began replacing several vacuum lines. When I was finnished I had both control over the temp and vents. I had to pull the radio/ac control out to dissconnect a amp on an aftermarket radio that the previous owner had installed and when I was done I pushed it back in and now no vents again but I still have control of the temp. Any ideas as to what I might have done. I didnt unplug any thing execpt the connectors for the amp to the radio.
Any ideas as to where I should start looking and I dont know if this makes a difference but the comppressor is unpluged as it is not working. |

are you sure you didn't unplug a connector from the climate control? if it was working before and not after something you did caused that.
