to buy or not to buy
Likely gonna get a gold 85 z31 automatic non turbo with 78000 original miles. The trans is smooth and it drives nice no wierd noises or anything. only issues are all all the dash warning lights are out and the oil and gas gauge don't work, home install stereo so that might have somethin to do with it. Also when starting up you gotta leave the key In the on position for about 30 seconds and there's some hissing from the back then u can start um, wtf is that? There asking 2500 and I'm in love. What you guys think?

Don't ever rush into a sale because you "instantly fell in love with something". That's usually how people get screwed over.
I suggest taking your time, researching the problems, and looking at other local deals.
The hissing from the back would probably the fuel pump priming. If you have to let it prime (pressurize the fuel lines) every time, it's probably a toasted fuel pressure regulator (fairly simple R&R). Wiring depends on if it was hacked into, and how bad it is.
