Auto Trans Service

Hello all! I bought my first Nissan a few days ago and unfortunately it's an automatic but it was the cleanest car I could find and I'm hoping to daily it at least for a little while... The trans seems tired.

It makes a weird winding sound in first occasionally, hasn't proven an issue but the transmission fluid looks filthy. I've worked in car service so I know what it should look and it isn't horrid just real dark.

The main reason I'm posting on here though is because I need some info on changing the fluid and possibly filter.
What type/how much fluid should I use? Also the location of the drain plug etc.
Do you think it would be wise to change the filter or is it difficult to get at? I'm used to manual trans cars and Honda/Mazda so this is fairly new to me.

Thanks!

It's the '84 non turbo btw

You have to drop the pan ,no plug
but if its very dark you have cooked plates and disks , usually thats rebuild time , some do the trans flush machine , maybe better than cleaning and looking in the pan
dex ll me thinks , might try nissan fluid too ,all imports after 88 had there own fluid with a specific amount of friction modifier ,for fine tuning the disk slippage
