Anyone Know?
Does anyone know where I can find out who much(exactly) airflow is in the turbo side exhaust mainfold (in psi) of an 87t?
Much appreciated Ghostz |
Re: Anyone Know?
PSI varies depending on how hard on the gas you are, the rpms of the engine, and a couple other things I'm sure.
You do realize that there is a crossover pipe that runs behind the engine and over the transmission that connects to the driver side manifold, right? http://zbum.nissanpower.com |
Re: Anyone Know?
Yes, I know of the crossover pipe. Why? I am trying to figure out how much air flow is right in front of the turbo. I know that it varies with rpm ect....but if you know where there is a chart...or something, it would help.

Re: Anyone Know?
go to howstuffworks.com and look up engines. somewhere in there, there is a formula for calculating air used per RPM. PSI is dependant on te turbo, spool up time, etc. lots more variables than just RPM.
what are you trying to figure out? http://zbum.nissanpower.com |
Re: Anyone Know?
Thanks, I will let you know when I post the results of my project ZX.
