Analog to digital

I just purchased a 84 300zx turbo. My original car (which I still own) is a 86 na. I bought the 84 because it's in a lot better condition (31,xxx miles) and turbo. The only problem I have with my 84 is the analog dash. My 86 has the didge dash and it's one of my favorite things about the car. Is there a write up on how to swap the dash from my 86 into my 84?
p.s. I'm perfectly aware of how many issues usually come with a digital compared to the analog. I feel like it's worth it.

I’ve been accessing z31 forums for a long time now and I can’t recall anyone who wanted to convert an analog dash to a digital dash. All the posts were in the opposite direction from digital to analog.

T
he z31 digidash was way ahead of its time when it came out. It’s also the source of one of the most common problems that people have with this car. But you already know this. The link below might help even if it's in the reverse direction. You would just do the conversion in reverse.

Do you also want to swap the digital climate control to analog or just the instrument cluster? The FAQ doesn’t include the climate control unit.1984 digital dash models have an automatic climate control unit and has a GLL trim level designation.1984 analog dash models have a manual climate control unit and has a GL trim level designation.

I'm not too worried about the climate control. I think the link you posted will help a lot. Thank you for your fast and direct response. I can't seem to find anything on the forums that say anything other than not to do it.
