'87 Z31 Doesn't Start
An error in deductive logic; car would not start three weeks ago...(after running all day).
Confused voltage and amperage; replaced batter terminals (after 30 years), starter was suspect so replaced that....FF to 3:00 AM three days later...BAZINGA!!...IT'S THE BATTERY!!
Replaced existing battery with one that had been starting a 280ZX...BINGO!..started right up. Took the (Z31) battery back to O'Reilly's and IT WAS BAD!
A multimeter confirmed 12.5 volts, yet does not measure amperage.....(maybe it does??)
So simple, yet SO UNPRACTICED!!
