I want to let the z31 folk out there know that I just received my first loss in the street racing bracket. I put up a fight off the starting line, up to about 50mph I was a car length ahead of the Beamer. From 55 to 65 the shiny red opponents' ride claimed a good car length and a half on my determined z. I of course let up and saved my car the further stress. I then proceded to return to normal highway speeds where I eventually passed the BMW, I suppose the driver wanted to see the look of disappointment dripping from my face, but I merely rolled down my window, threw a thumbs up, and continued on my way. I do have the last laugh though, the beamer probably cost around 8 grand, while I paid the tiny sum of $1800 for my z, let me put the difference into mods for my car and race again I want to point out that it might have been either a 325si or a 328si, I'm almost sure it was the latter though. If anyone would like to share their experiences in the pursuit of putting to shame this German luxury/sports car feel free to commence to typing. Until next time.

 

No, my z is'nt a turbo. But I forgot to mention that when me and the 328 parted ways I looked to see him go and I noticed 2 or 3 cars behind him was a Z32, so maybe that Z reclaimed the road for Z's that night, who knows.
