I have an 86 nissan 300zx 2+2 turbo with an automatic and my 0-60 is somethin pathetic like 9, 9.5 seconds..there are no mods done to the engine but still pretty embarrassing for a 3 litre turbo...there are 175000 kms on it and i'm wondering on whether or not if it would be worth spending the money on getting a K&N air filter and a performance exhaust like pro flo..thanks for the help

If it's that slow, I'd worry more about fixing the problem than trying to get more power with just an air filter. That's like adding a body kit when you've rolled the car. Spend the money fixing it first. Worry about more power later. But that's just me.

I would but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the car..it runs perfectly..and i have givin it a rescent tune up.......

No. If your 0-60 time is that slow then there's something wrong with the car. Not sure what, but I've never had a Z that slow either turbo or non. Somewhere something isn't right. Maybe check thru the troubleshooting sections in a Haynes or Factory Service Manual to see if something sheds some light on what the problem might be.

Yeah, that seems awfully slow to me, mine runs high 6es in the 0-60, with a passenger...
