85zxT just not right
 

Hey People.My Z is not running quite right.Let me tell you whats up & if you've got suggestions I'd like to hear em.It's mostly noticeable at idle.Kinda like a miss,kinda like it's got a 3/4 race cam in it.I hve new plugs (NGK gapped) Nissan cap & rotor,new pcv And I'm gonna put a new o2 sensor in as soon as I get the old one out(it doesn't want to,broken 2 ext.'s on it already,heavy WD soaked).I haven't set the idle or the timing but not sure if that would help anyway.Any suggestions before I break down & take it to a shop?

the timing will definatly cause your car to run bad and miss. do the timing...set the throtal possision sensor and check the ECU codes. your problem should be solved.

Thanks yelo,it's running much better now that I replaced the o2 sensor.I still need to set the ign timing.I borrowed a light so I'll be doing that soon.Got some new wires coming.Might get a coil & amp too.My coil looks kind of scorched. Don't know anything about setting the tps.I'll check my Chilton's.
