This is my first time posting after scanning as many answers related to digital dashes I could find but none that seem to address the type of problem I am facing (if I have missed a relevant one, please let me know!).

I have a 1985 NA GLL 300zx in which the lights on the digital dash work, but after 15-30 mins, depending on driving, the area circled in yellow in Figure 1 gets increasingly hot and the board mounted fuse pointed to by the yellow arrow blows, cutting out the digital dash and sometimes the center gauges as well. I have triple checked the soldering connections on the power unit, sent it out to XenonZ to get refurbished, and even bought another working power unit to double check yet the same fuse keeps on blowing (I have replacement fuses and have gone through at least 5 so far). At this point, I doubt it is the power unit at all and am reaching out to the forums before dropping $400 or so on a new digital dash. I have also taken the digital dash cluster itself apart and fixed a few components that were failed on the main board (Figures 2 and 3) and although it helped the lighting of the dash to be more consistent, it ultimately did not fix the overheating/blown fuse issue. Has anyone experienced a problem like this or has dabbled into this system that they might be able to help? Some wiring diagrams and pinouts may also help if anyone has that (the FSM does not have either of these for the PSU and little for the cluster main board).
