300ZX t top

I'm buyin a 300zx from a friend but I don't know the year it was made, he says it's a 1988 but he isnt sure. Were 1988 Z's made with the T-tops? If not, what's the earliest model year that has the T-top?

I think the first model with t-tops were made in 1979 or 1980.

I thought all 80's Z's had T-tops ?
Although I did see an 87-89 model once that wasn't, did they make some t-topless or could it have been a custom job??

Came that way from the factory. I have 2 hard top z31s.

There are a few out there. Just have to look for them.
