shocks

shocks

hi guys i am new to the site. my dad just handed down to me his 1986 nissan 300zx. one of the shocks are blown and i was just wonderin there is a guys selling some shock for a 1984 Z would they fit on a 1986 Z. can you guys help me?

everything from 84 to early 87 should fit, I'm also assuming they are both N/A's, but I havent touched a z31 in a while.

wrong!

there are differences in the NA and turbo shocks. You can't use turbo shocks in the NA cars.

NA = non-adjustable suspension.
T = electronically adjustable suspension.

Depending on the shock manufacturer, they'll either list their shocks as fitting NA vs T or non-adjustable vs electronically adjustable.

And the year doesn't matter as long as they're Z31s. So all years. 1984 to 1989.

Can you use non turbo shocks in a 86 turbo?
