I am looking for a good set of rotors, drilled/slotted, stock...either way it goes i dont want to pay 200$ for them here in town....:disgust:

took my old rotors and gave them to my brother he took them to his tech school and turned them... i have another set he is going to turn, does anybody want the set? $80 plus shipping buys them.... let me know

I wouldn't recommend slotted or drilled rotors, unless you're going to spend the big bucks on Brembo's and even then I think they're crap. I tried S&D rotors for awhile and they all faded and cracked in no time. I much prefer the OEM rotors. IMO, more surface contact = more stopping power. They don't overheat easily anyway, and if they do, then S&D rotors will overheat even faster, since they have less metal as a heatsink. Many have disagreed with me on this, but I still say, unless you're racing and want to replace your worn out, warped, cracked rotors all the time, stick with OEM. They don't eat your pads as fast either. I believe the front rotors were $90 per side, but I bit the bullet and bought them. No more braking problems.

yeah, well i turned another set and redid everything , got my alighment and it stocks perfect so probs, but i do want to upgrade my calipers.

as for drilled and slotted, my bro had them on his altima, and the stoping power is great, but he went through pads like no problem. they also rusted and didnt look good......
