Coil over for Z31
Coil over for Z31
I'm a complete newbie to this site but the first thing I notice is people interested in coil-overs for the Z31.
Is there real interest? I have a setup that on my (race)car that works great and was fairly easy to build. A little fabrication was involved but nothing difficult. I use 2.5" x 10" springs up front and 2.5" x 8" in the rear. Shocks are Bilstein (from tire Rack) all around.
If people are interested I can document how it's done and even provide some fabrication services.
Let me know.

Looks nice - what kind of shocks did you use? The problem with bilsteins is that the shaft is 3/4" only 2" long. I had it milled to 5/8".
You have quite a long spacer between the shock top and the camber plate and that doesn't work with the Bilstein because of the 2" shaft.
$1K - does that include shocks and springs? If so that's a decent price.
What did you do for the rear?

its adapting 240sx coilover setup for the z31. This coilover setup is made by Stance. Requires getting your spindle cut down and welded with a threaded collar. The rear you just need a bushing to let it properly set. After that its pretty much a bolt in setup.
