Z31 Digital Dash & Climate Control
 

Hi Guys,

Just about got my Z31 on the road, but i have a few questions. Withthe digital Dash, does the Fuel cage light up when you run the self diagnostics? at the moment all of my dash works but the fuel guage, i know that the sender needs attention, but not sure if that is all i need to be looking at. my next questions is in relation to the climate control. i have tried 2 different climate control units, but in neither of them can i read the bloody numbers for the temp!!! you can kind of see them if you look hard enough and there is just the right amount of light, but at night you cant seem them at all and if its sunny you have no hope either!!! has anyone else seen this???

mine's the same way... can'st see the numbers... not sure how to fix... lemme know if you find out though

its likely the backlights for the LCDs have burned out. just replace those and it should be all better. theres a writeup somewhere that tells how to replace them with LEDs.

shows you how to replace the Globes, tho trying to get them is proving fun here in Aus, info on replacing them with LED's would be awesome!
