I'd like to carry my surfboards on top of my 1988 300zx 2+2 w/ t-tops. Anyone know of a removable rack (preferably straps?) that would work? Thanks in advance for any info!

 

everything i found on google is for the hardtop only. you may have to rig something. ive actually had a surfboard in the back of mine and got the hatch shut, but just barely, its not reccommended.

 

funny someone asked this question. I have an '81 280ZX coupe. And I had to put mine in an angle sticky out of the of the t-top. Now I have a truck so I don't have to take my z anymore to surf. Back then it was my only means of travel. Good thing at that time I didn't have to go far to go to the beach. Thought I'd share.

 

Just take out the passenger t-top and sit it in the seat.
a little extra downforcs wont hurt will it? lol

or you could buy bars and put them on yourself and bungee your board to it.Gl
