I recently bought an 85 ZX NA with a broken radio. I am trying to keep my car as stock as possible and was wondering where I can get a working one? I have been trying to find one for about amount and I can't find any anywhere.
Since all the "stock" radios are over 30 years old, and by today's standards now sound crappy, I would go to Crutchfields and get a modern one with bluetooth, CD, USB ports.... My 85T's radio went intermittent in 1991 (6 years old) and had it repaired. the solder dries out and the whole radio needed to be re-soldered. A couple of years later it did the same thing. I had it repaired 2 more times in the 90's until 2003, when I decided the OEM radio's quality was crap. I replaced it with a modern system with modern speakers pushing out 10 times the wattage. I still have my stock radio in a box somewhere.
