i have an 86 z31. the seat belt buckle locks are broken so i got some black ones, but the slot where the seat belt clips in is too small. ive checked ebay, craigslist and no one has them but nissan and they are over $100 a piece. would it hurt anything if i just grind the sides of the metal piece down just a little till it will fit in the slot?
