FiberGlass work
FiberGlass work
Does anyone around here do any fiberglass work? I Want to replace my interior peices with Fiberglass. I myself haven't ever worked with it and i want to do some playing around with it before i go into a full blown interior project and mess something up. Or, if you can offer me a decent price on finished peices i May be interested. But any links about fiberglass working would be appreciated.
I've never seen anyone offer fiberglass replacement pieces.
Fiberglass isn't the easiest thing to work with for a newbie. Like welding, it takes some skill and a lot of practice. Might want to see if your school offers something about it in any classes (automotive, shop, etc). Practice there and make some things. If you make something cool, make a mold of it and you can probably sell some stuff and make a few bucks.
This guy does it as a hobby. He isn't making much money on his parts, but it's still a joy for him:

Im not planning to just rush into doing a bunch of Fiberglass work trust me. My cousin did a bunch of fiberglass work on his car, ill see if i cant have him make me a few peices for me or show me how so i can practice making a few molds. And thats not a bad idea...hmm Maybe i should start working on some fiberglass stuff and get good enough to sell things. Ill see if my cousin will teach me the basics and read up elsewhere. thanks again
