Considering Headunits with a 7" Fold-out Display; issues?

I am Considering a couple 1-Din head units whereby both have a 7" retractable folding display. One unit is the Pioneer AVH-X7800BT; the other is a Jensen VX4012. I would like to hear from those that happen to have motorized large screen head-units within their Z31's.
I am curious whether the fit works. I realize these may cover the climate controls when extended; but, other than this, any issues with it?
Thanks.

Just following up. I had a motorized 1-DIN 7" Pioneer AVH-3400NEX installed. Fit perfectly into the original cage. Did have to pull it forward about 3/4" so as to be able to electronically tilt back the screen to my preferred viewing angle. Does not obstruct A/C vents. I leave the screen within the fixed or out position thus it does not move when I turn the key off and on. The A/C temperature slider is behind the screen. When necessary, I simply touch a button on the radio screen to lean the screen forward whereby I can then engage the A/C slider. Such an improvement; now an old guy like me can easily see radio options versus all the tiny buttons on a typical 1 DIN radio. By the way, I also had the automatic antenna disconnected because I never liked the way it looked when extended. Now, it stays down permanently & I instead utilize a Sirius/XM & an FM antenna that are both sitting upon my center dash down front at the windshield providing a clean look. On a side note, tinted the windows, replaced wheels with 17" Amercan Racing polished rims, and am now changing out all bulbs to LED,
