I have a contact in Japan who's shop modifies older Nissans. The last time I was there, he had a near perfect set of OE Recaros that matches the ones used in the SS Model. The ones in Japan tend to have wear on the right seat (RHD)where ours are worn out on the left seat. (LHD)

From what I understand, these factory Recaro seats are a common sight in Japan. Many of his customers take them out and replace them with aftermarket seats. So he ends up with a pile of them.

I'm about to ask him to sell me just the covers. Is there anyone else interested in covers? I know there's only 1,002 of these SS models made, so I'd prefer not to have a bunch sent over if no one wants them.

(This is just for the factory Recaro seats. I doubt they would fit non-Recaro.)

I know this is an old post, but I am looking to replace the bottom seat cover for the Shiro that I just rescued. Let me know if you are still able to do this.

While some JDM Z31s got Recaro seats, they were not the same material as the North American Z31. Pictures show a different pattern. That and the fact that this thread is 5 years old.

 

I knew the post was old but was not sure if the pattern of the material was the same though, it was worth a shot. Im sure replacements can be had from old stock somewhere...
