why is engine gasket set so much for 81 zx
 

i was going to replace the gaskets in my 81 280zx and was price chcking and found that an engine gasket set was 350.00 and all the other years were 99.00 to 200.00

the 1981-83 non-turbo 280zx engine gasket set should all be the same style and price. I don't know why you came up with such a high price, but I think they run about $99-$130 when I last checked. Try checking at a different source then the one that you got 350 from.
