I'm 16 years old and I bought a 1983 280zx N/A a couple of years ago but have been too busy to really start to work on it. It currently runs but it takes a couple of tries to get it started. It has nearly all the original parts and about 200000 miles on it. The body has a little bit of visible rust and a fair bit of dents and scratches, along with the paint having a lot of faded spots. I really want to get a lot of work done on it this Summer but I'm not sure what the first steps should be. It would be great to know whether I should be trying to work on part of the car first or trying to replace the engine. I don't have a lot of experience with working on cars but I do a lot of electronic work and building with my hands. I'm not looking to make it super fast but atm just trying to get it very reliable to drive around. I attached a couple images of the car for reference.
