What's a 280ZX worth these days? Question from Europe
 

Hi guys!
I'm looking to get into 280ZX ownership, trouble is that they're not that popular over here so I'm considering importing something from US - if the price is right.
I'm looking for a project car, it doesn't have to be perfect - I'd love something with a broken engine and shabby interior so I can go full custom inside plus RB25 it - but I'm also happy driving it stock initially. What I mostly need though, is a running shell in a good condition.

So, what would I need to pay for a running car with no rust and no significant crash damage - including in the past? Has to be 2-seater (I don't like how the 2+2 looks at all), preferably manual and '82+ with the upgraded steering, may require some work on the interior, paintjob, suspension, brakes etc (I would be eventually upgrading all of those anyway).
How much cheaper would it get if the engine/trans was busted (as an immediate swap candidate)?

How many miles? I have the same vehicle with 41,000 orig. mi..Looking to sell at $9000.00

If i had 9k to drop, id buy it. Mine has 18,000 original miles. Its been in storage most of its life.

I've come down to $7850.oo....medical bills coming up
