WOW! Did you do anything in Photoshop afterwards? Those shots look like stills from Top Gear - nice staging, color and composition.

Oh yeah, the car looks sweet too.

Thanks!

very minimal photoshop work. Just a quick levels adjustment to bring out the color then sharpen.

Good catch! It is bent in, if you look up the fender a bit you can see another dent. When I got the car it had whels that were not the correct size. Then one day I took it for a road trip up the Florida coast, on the way home we were driving ON the beach in Daytona Beach and the wheel fell off!! I was so lucky it happened while I was driving 5 mph on the sand rather than 70mph on the highway...

Nope, no snow here in philly. :-)

LOL you drove a zx on the beach!!!!!! i see trucks get stuck all the time at daytona and georgia beaches, one time i saw one truck try to pull another out and it got stuck...

but a car with less than 5 inches of ground clearence getting away with just a wheel falling off, crazy!!!

Down in Daytona Beach the beaches are so long that they have roads on the beach (at least 7 years ago when this happened). They were similar to a dirt road... just beach sand. Any car could drive on it without problems, the sand was very compact and smooth.

I believe NASCAR was actually started on the beaches of Daytona.

They do look incredibly similar! Mine was painted "Performance Red" from a 2000 Mustang

yeah every night they repave or surface them with an army of bulldozers its realy a sight but i just couldnt take a car never the less a sports car out there (what if the tides came!!!!!)

i dont think i ever saw a car out there, i bet that would have made some awesome pics it being out on the beach kind of like apollo's sig pic...

And there you have it folks. Mine was a 1966 Ford Mustang red. It was left over from a previous paint job. Looks like they went a little bit brighter over the years

indeed. during the prohibition days the rum runners hopped up their "stock" cars to outrun the cops. when prohibition ended, they decided they might as well race the cars.

Very nice! What color and paint type did you use?

This is exactly the look we are working on for our current project.

Excellent work!
