man i had the weirdest dream, i was at the junk yard and saw a wrecked z32, the whole back end was gone. so i get to looking and the front ends gone, like removed. then i turn around and see it complete and on the ground. and look further into the back ground and see a s130 with out the front end, fenders, bumper and hood gone, i then had an apifany, what if they fit. so i tried and they did. perfectly, i was tripping. and it was wide body looking, further away from the wheels and such. so i bought it and left..then i woke up from the dream and ran out side...but it didn't happen, i walked out to my beat, though much improving s130. and said thank godd. so what you think wierd huh. and i wonder if it'll fit....maybe even j30 look. naww, i love my s130 too mush to do that. if i ever get a s13, i'll convert it to the s130 front though.

 

well i can tell you that the z32 is about 5 inches wider then the s130...

but it would be cool, i had done a little bit of research on this because i found a site that sells z32 front clips

 

yeah i was tripping, it was cool tho, and it lasted the whole night, but that would be cool

man i'm having problems with my car....it just dies sometimes, luckly i was driving and able to coast home...i need help. and it's my thread so its not jacking just changing the subject. ok i was driving came to a stop sign, then was in second, had to down shift to move out of a j30's way, it kind of like jumped, then took off like a beast, i was in 3rd then let out of the gas and but her in 5th. then i didn't hear the engine i was like wtf. to i put her in neutral and coasted a little, then cranked the engine, and she didn't start. luckly i was near my house and just coasted home, so whats the problem. it starts first time every time, and runs perfect, maybe rich but not really, i know its electrical, but what could it be.....maybe the fuel filter also...any ideas or suggestions?

of i walk away from the car after it dies, and let her set for a couple minutes, then she'll start right back up, no moving of wires or anything...so i'll check it out after school...and what aboot the speedo, i was tring to reinstall my dash and messed with the speedo a little, it reads 30 when i'm idleing. wtf's up with that

 

Sounds like the AFM (read J's thread on how to adjust it). That prob will be gone when we do the ecu swap!

As for the speedo... to only jumps to 30 when the car is ON & idling, or when sitting at all????

 

when it's just sitting, i had the dash out for like a week, then put it in last night, and was messing with the speedo cable, so i must of spun it up to where it thinks it idleing on the speedo but its at 30? i'll fix that after school. so afm, i'll just leave that alone then...after school, i'm going to clean all the electrical connections..maybe that'll work out better.

 

could be your coil. Also could be the ignition module attached to the coil. Both can become very sensitive to heat as they're about to kick the bucket. If the car is just shutting off like someone flipped a switch then I'd say there's a 90% probability its ignition related. What does the tack do when the car is dieing? Does it just drop like you turned the key off?
