Vacuum Hoses
I posted a few weeks ago about having problems getting a 83 280zx started. I did eventually get it running and it runs great. The only problem is all of those little vacuum hoses running over the engine have rotted out and broken. Since they are broken I'm not sure what goes where so I cant replace them. I am guessing that is why neither the a/c nor the cruise control is working. I have the haynes manual but I couldnt find anything in there. If someone could take some high resolution pics of their engine compartment showing where the hoses should be going or has a diagram that would be great.

I own a Chiltens manual for my 83 280zx. They have diagrams for the vacuum hoses in the chapter on emmisions. Good luck! |
