Are any of you familiar with cars like the MBG GT, Volvo p1800, Chevy Nomad, BMW M-coupe etc etc. Todays Idea is taking a 280 and making it a wagon! Yeah! Hatch backs are cool enough but a wagon is a totally different beast. Is anyone out there good with drawing? Can we get some design concepts? Post them in reply to this and lets see what we can get. Ill scan mine when i get off of work. Take your time, and go nuts!

wagons are ugly. Why not just take a 280Z 2+2 and make a 4x4 out of it

 

I think some one has done that already...and i still think the nomad and p1800 are good looking cars

 

i always liked the volvo 1800 in it's fastback/coupe form

 

Why not just buy one of those cars?

 

Im just being loopy, ive been working on photoshopping this idea...i saw some guy did a cuda+vista cruiser so that might be one way to go..so far the VW Lupo seems to have the best fit..more to follow.

jaguar tried that idea. making their pretty nice looking XJ6 i think it was into a wagon. it looked terrible. you might be talking to the wrong bunch of people about this idea...

and ditto on the volvo. a guy i work for has an 1800 wagon and it is beautiful. i'm sure it's slow as a bitch, but nice looking.
