thumb screws for t-top shades
 

I have a 1983 Z that is in great shape, the only thing missing is the t-top shades. I have seen several places selling shades but none have the fastners available. My T-tops are in great shape but the fastners are no longer there.
Can anyone tell me where I might purchase these fastners, I can't seem to find them anywhere. In the absence of that can anyone tell me the size and thread pitch of the bold that goes into the T-Tops.:icon_kidra:

I live in a rural community and our local Nissan dealer started in the 90's so they don't have any of the parts for something that old. Do other Nissan dealer in larger citys still carry parts like this. I read somewhere that this was a discontinued part in the 80's.

it may be a rural community but they still have shipping... i would hope :confused:

It would be better and I think easier if just post up your wanted request in the market place...and also ask around in the for sale section if someone has them (someone who is parting there Z). Good luck with your search!

I called Nissan and all they had was a clip available nothing else. I also called BlackDragon and for some reason they stopped carrying just that one fastner. Still had the ones for the 300Z.
