Take a look.. multi function swith

Ok so like you may already know my gauges on the Z don't work and my blinkers didn't either. So I took a look at the switch and as you can see is burnt. I have a new multi switch that I got at the junk yard for $10 50% off day good deal but anyway if i connect the new one to the old wire will it work or will it burn out my new switch when i connect the battery back up? And with the bent up part of the switch do you think that may have made a difference? As far as my Gauges are concerned. Do I need a New connector (will I Be at the bone yard again)

tha's probably just from arcing. i'm no electonics expert, but i'd just make sure that the contact is good and use lots of electrical contact grease. check the fuse for that too if there is one. make sure it's the right strength

I made a thread a while back about this common switch prob ( just an FYI ): https://www.zdriver.com/forums/showt...ght=headlights

Yes, you should get the female wire side of that plug too, and cut / splice it in to your wiring.
