Splash Guards on a 280zx?
 

My 280zx has a few screw holes on all four whel wells.


Where these for splash guards or mud guards?


Any ideo of how to ocver them up?

They are for the plastic inner tire well. You can cover them w/ body filler, or weld them... which ever you want. Just make sure you prep it correctly and seal it, otherwise you can expect rust.

Where can I get the plastic for the 4 inner tyre wells?

Yes, the holes are for facory mud flaps. I still have the original mud flaps with white lettering "Datsun" on them. Mine is an original 1979.

They are very nice in that they have metal backing (not just rubber) and the holes in the wheelwell are for mounting them.
