Headlight covers? Side markers? Turn signals? Tail lights? Which are you talking about?

Several people (KTM off the top of my head) used some kind of spraypaint on the taillights that's meant for the smoked look. Have you checked Autozone / NAPA / Checker / Kragen / Pep B0iez??

a little bit. but all the lights but headlights. i saw stuff online that says it does it but it was 30 bucks.

i used paint from kragen, or autozone you have to mix black and clear coat and put it in a sprayer. i think they carry dupont paint it comes in the quart cans. its kinda hard to paint so practice with junk lights or find someone who is a real good painter.....

I did it on mine.

Read the little write up I did here:

snw you know you just wanted to be like my z. anyway to smoke your lights is easy. sand your lights with 1000 grit. get some clear coat. mix it in a cup and then you go stir a thing of black paint. use whats on the stick and stir in the clear. this way you can control how dark your clear will get. you dont want to dark. just add a little black to the clear till you get what you want. spray it on and let it dry.. bam smoke tailights. it wont take much clear to smoke lights so no need to make a huge batch.

link worked, and mat, you just shut your mouth!

be careful when you paint that you don't get blotches its gotta be smooth application the ones for my Tc didn't look too good the first time so I redid them and they look awesome.... after they dry lightly sand them with 2000 grit sand paper and spray clear coat and buff and they should shine!
