Smile She goes.....

So yeah go the radiator today.
Put it in and went for a test run.... RUN COOL!
But 1 question...
I took out the thermostat before ordering the new radiator and i wonder if i should put it back in.... i am in hawaii so the weather does not get too cold...

Peace.

If you leave the thermostat out, it'll just take longer for the motor to warm up. As a result, you may get worse fuel economy as it'll run in "cold start" mode longer with a richer fuel mixture. I would put it back in.

in Illinois you appreciate thermostats. when i was driving my 260Z once i started moving the the temp guage could be less then a 1/4 inch from the bottom no matter what.... stupid cold air, and this is with an electric fan installed so id never have a fan operating lol. i believe my T-stat is gone or stuck open other wise it should stay warmed up. basically, it makes my cra run like junk and the heat doesnt work...
