removing the rear rotors

so im trying to repack my rear wheel bearings, but i cant seem to get that big 22mm nut on the back of the rotor off, im talking about the one that hides under the driveshaft connection to the rotor, ive heard that its put on there with 210 lbs of torque, does anybody know how to get it off? also the nut looks like its bent in at the bolt flat spots at the top, where the felt part of the lock nut is, is that supposed to be that way?

guessing your asking how to take the rear hub off and nut? Still need slide hammer after that nut is off to get the hub out.

Take a punch and tap the "dents" out of the top of the nut (they do that to lock it) put the lugs on and put a long bar in the lugs and brace that to the ground so it can't spin then get a socket wrench on that nut and the biggest breaker bar you can find.

Problem solved!

such a big ****ing PITA, which is why I waited to find a pair of control arms I didn't have to disassemble this time around lol

It was just a few hour job for me lol Course I found you can use a gear puller to push the shaft out of the control arm then use the same thing to just pull the bearing off! Makes it so much quicker and simpler.

Thats weird, I responed to the post but it didnt post it, oh well
i'll say again then lol I already tried an air ratchet, that didnt do a thing, and I just jammed the studs with a 2x2 to keep it from moving and used a breaker bar, and tried but it didnt give, I didnt know to bend the the nut though, i'll do that and see if i could make it give way then. thanks
