power steering pressure line
 

in my 81 280zx i need to replacec the pressure line and i have found some after market ones but i was just wanting to see if anyone else has purchased that and it was a correct fit so i dont waste my time.

the old one does look like this just want to make sure the screw on female end is going to fit before i order.

In my experience with aftermarket parts, it probably will not fit perfectly. Aftermarket makers go after generic buyers and not specifically Z owners of any model year. If you are a whiz mechanically, you can make aftermarket parts fit but that is extra work. I have a genius to help me here. He can fit anything to anything.

Your other solution is a used OEM part from a recycler. I guess by now you know whether your Z's sister or brother is sitting on a recycler's lot somewhere wanting to lend you that part. :006:
