Pictures of my Z...

Here are pictures.. it needs a lot of body work and interior work... apparently it was in a small fender-bender at 1 time so my left signal/marker are broken and the bumper is slightly askew.. but it goes fast.. and thats all i need to worry about

Nice. Im seeing more and more of the blue and silver scheme now a days. Intirior needs a little tlc. The body looks to be in great condition. Very nice.
If you need some side markers I have the ones off my Z. Recently shaved them. There in great condition, no oxidation or anything. lemme know

I read a while back that you shaved your side markers. I was just wondering cuz it says you are from oakland california how you are getting away without them or is in not a law to have side markers

well i am supposed to have them, but a lot of older cars never came with them. its looks as if they were never there so i have yet to get any grief from law enforcement. Unless the cop knows his Z's, then i wont have a problem

'81 Turbo automatic?

Looks like he swapped out the 15" honey comb turbo wheels with 14" '82-'83 6 spoke wheels. Any idea where the 15
' wheels are?

You can also post the pics in your own Members Gallery. Go to the Gallery section at the top of the forum.

I was thinking of changing my side markers to some lower profile/ clear ones. I saw some on a newer Jetta that looked to be close to the same size. That way I am still visible to traffic but I don't have such enormous lights sticking out.

Hey man nice Z, verry nice, I am jealous! LOL! Anyway if this is the factory color. Could you tell me what color blue that is? Nobody seems to know, I would like to paint mine as close to the factory as possible. Also what color silver is that? And your interior color is identical to mine. The only thing different, is I have a 5-speed!

i dunno exactly what the paint codes/names are..they are factory original... its a like a semi metallic true blue and the silver is dulled.. its more or less a plain darker tone silver not real bright.. not sure due to age or actuall color but i think its that way.. i WISH i had a 5-spd.. but the 81 turbos only came with auto.. but that auto can kick some serious *** so dont underestimate it

Hey man no problem, and I agree with you people on here are pretty helpful and friendly. I try to help if I can. Of course I am learning. And I check this place everyday myself. I love this website! Z's and their friendly owners. What else can you ask for! Oh yeah Iagree that Automatics are strong. I mean my 350 hydromatic is pretty tough in my '75 Firebird! And BTW I didn't take it the wrong way, it's all good man. And thanks for the information on the paint! Also your car still kicks major #ss!
