You'd want to stud the caps... you'll spin a bearing pretty easy w/o the proper way to hold in the crank. Also headstuds & an MLS headgasket. Stock bolts & headgasket won't hold up for very long at all running 13psi+ boost. Yada yada yada.

13??? idk know that seems low. so metal headgasket some sort of performance one that costs 300 dollars (ick) new head studs. hold crank in place more securely.... got it... that it? a lil head work, new valves springs all that jazz... then we in good shape?

I melted my new stock headgasket about 2200 miles into my rebuilt engine... I was racing it all night long & cranked it up to 12psi to roll against a kid in a Turbo Mazda Speed. I won, but then got to tow my car 30 miles home at 3am.

And where are you getting $300 for a metal headgasket? You can get one for $99 - $159

Yeah definetly get a new head gasket and keep that head on. But the bottom is VERY strong. There are people in AZ pushing a good amount of WHP on stock bottom end with just studs and HG
